Originally founded by Andrew Mari in 1951, Stamford’s has the same philosophy of honesty, integrity and commitment to it’s clients since it’s inception and continues to offer the highest quality of services from start to finish.
Now run by John Mari, Stamfords is continuing the family heritage and tradition and has grown the business to be one of the long-established building contractors in the UK, with a focus on sustainability, quality assurance, and exceptional refurbishments.
Our Organic Growth
Our 70+ year journey has been one of organic evolution. It’s guided us to where we are today – an inter-disciplinary construction company. This evolution has shaped us into a long-established construction company renowned for our collaborative and effective approach with outstanding results.
Financially Independent:
Stamford Contracts has grown organically, expanding across various sectors and undertaking projects ranging from £50.000 to £10 million. Despite our growth, we remain a proud family-owned business, fully financially independent with no external investments or loans to repay. Established in 1951, we are one of the UK’s longest-standing family-owned companies, maintaining our heritage and values while continuing to evolve and succeed.

All Stamford employees have enhanced DBS checks to ensure the safety of children and young people. Our Position
Stamfords evolved through the decades to become one of the UK’s long-established construction companies, focusing on complete construction, design and build, maintenance, M&E, decorations, fire safety works, and refurbishment services for clients across the UK.
