Refurbishment of B Wing

Formerly student accommodation, B Wing has been converted into offices, library, study areas, kitchenettes and a lecture theatre.
Stamfords has been refurbishing nearly every part of the London Business School, transforming areas ranging from lecture theatres, toilets, cafés, shops, and communal circulation spaces to private study areas and the Dean’s residences, among others.
The comprehensive works have included upgrades to IT infrastructure and data systems, roofing, structural work, tarmacadam, raised flooring, decorations, mechanical and electrical systems, and more, all aimed at transforming the School’s learning and leisure areas into modern, functional spaces.
Scope of Works

The B Wing Refurbishment project followed on from Stamford’s successful Demolition works to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Floors of the B Wing. 
Stamfords were commissioned as the Main Contractor to refurbish the building for relocation of staff and facility personnel. The project
consisted of a Design and Build Contract which consisted, but not limited to, the following sections and schedules of work:

SURVEYS
• Site condition survey with photographic evidence
• Presentation of Stage 5 Drawings
• Appointment of Management Team
• Issue of programme and Durations
• Procurement of Supply Chain

MECHANICAL
• New AHU
• AC Units
• New hot and cold connection
• New power connections

DATA & ELECTRICAL
• New Data configuration and layout through the building.
• New Electrical Circuits and power.
